Hi, I'm Joe
I'm a wedding videographer based in the Lake District and I love nothing more than connecting with people. I spend as much time with my family and friends as possible. For me, this is what life is about. Walking in the Lakes with my girlfriend Charli, visiting my friends in York or having a coffee and a chocolate biscuit at my Grandma Olga’s are some of my favourite things to do!
It's this appreciation that leads me to do what I do. It’s not about the videography as such, it’s about preserving precious emotions, and it is a pleasure to offer this to others on their most important days.
I’ve always been a passionate person. My early obsessions were lizards followed by supercars. In my early teens I would create YouTube videos on the supercars I would encounter and it was these early car videos that sparked my passion for videography.
I began to create family videos on holidays and days out, and this was when I fell in love with the potential to stop time. As my skills developed, I began to see my videos as a collection of the most meaningful moments.
This is Elevate
I no longer think of my craft as filmmaking. What I do is preserve emotions. The ability to transport someone back in time to perhaps their most treasured day feels like a magical superpower, and I hope to be able to offer this to people for as long as possible.
